iPad Just got a new mini R, about battery...

What should I do about the battery first time ? Fully drain the battery? Charge it for 12h... I don't know. Any recommendations please?

I stick it on charge for about 4 hours before even using it, once done set it up and use it as normal until it turns off from being flat.

Repeat once or twice more to ensure battery is calibrated.

Modern batteries don't need to be "conditioned" like that. Use it whenever you want, charge it whenever you want.
