Hey guys,
I just picked a new LG 20" monitor from Best Buy to hook up to my mid '08 MacBook Pro. Ive got it hooked it up VGA using a VGA cable supplied with the monitor and the DVI to VGA adapter that came with the MBP. My quick question is the screen is not near as crisp as the 15" screen on my MBP. Is this because I'm using VGA? Below is the link to monitor I got.

You should have it hooked up with DVI, and set the resolution to 1600x900, which is the monitors native resolution.

Well the resolution is set to 1600x900 but its hooked up VGA via a DVI to VGA adapter. I just didn't know if that was the reason it was a little blurry or just not as "crisp".

Maybe you need to auto adjust the screen? On my HP w2007 sometimes when I plug in the VGA cable the entire screen will be off center or blurry. I have to hit the auto adjust button on my monitor to fix it.
