Just got an 8gb iphone 4 for Sprint.

.... and i want to jailbreak it. dont know where to start... im new to iphone.

im guessing ios5 cannot be jailbroken yet ?? itd be cool if someone could at least point me in the right direction... Thanks !!

My guess is 8-12 weeks but don't quote me.
You may not want to jailbreak, so read the pros and cons first.
There are tethered and untethered jailbreaks.
Some Jailbreaks: redsnow, jailbreakme.com, and greenpoinson

There is a tethered JB for IOS5 out. Just not untethered. Tethered means that you have to plug in your iphone to itunes if you reboot it. I am on IOS5 but am waiting for the untethered version before i JB.

Tethered jailbreak is available for OS5. However, not for the 4S with OS5.
