I went in, paid the 100 bucks. Downloaded iOS5b5. Registered my UDID. Installed on my 3GS.

And now I get the error:

"We're unable to complete your activation.
This device is not registered as part of the iPhone Developer Program.
If you are a member of the Program, please register your device in the iPhone Developer Program Portal."

So I thought maybe I had entered the UDID wrong?
Nope.. Downloaded the iPhone Configuration Utility and verified the UDID. It was correct.

What am I doing wrong? Is my phone going to stay bricked?

Sometimes it takes a while before they are active in the system as registered....

Wait a little while, then put your phone into DFU mode and restore using the iOS 5 firmware. Should work then. Sometimes it takes a little while before it will activate, even if you registered the UDID already.
