So I've helped a friend a lot over the past few weeks with stuff, culminating in helping her migrate her data from her iBook to her new MacBook.
As payment I got the following: iBook G4 12"/1.07GHz/256MB RAM/40GB HD/Combo Drive/Airport Extreme/10.3.9
There is one solid line across the screen, doesn't really get in the way too much.
GeekBench Score Here Not the highest score, but great for surfing and using Pages and Keynote.
Performance seems faster under Leopard with those "mini tweaks" than it did under Panther!

- I upgraded it to 512MB with a stick I had lying around
- Reformatted to 10.5.8
- Disabled the dock transparency
- Disabled Spotlight indexing on everything except Applications (I use Spotlight a lot to launch programs)
- Downloaded Silk to enable CoreImage support and now have a transparent menu bar! (No performance difference with that)
