just got an iphone - a few questions

hello all - just bought an iphone, and loving it.
too lazy to search, so im hoping you folks can help me out with some basic questions:

• how can i change the wallpaper...the one where u actually see all the icons on the home screen? not just the wallpaper when the phone is locked?

• im still a windows user (for now ) i can edit mp3's on nero to make ringtones - how would i add them onto my iphone?

As you already surmized, there are tons of threads about these subjects both here and on Apples website.

1) Not possible with the phone in stock condition. Might be come possible in the future with the SDK release.

2) Drop your 30 sec or less .mp3 into iTunes and convert to ACC format.
Right click on the newly formated file and click on locate in windows.
Drag the file out of the folder onto your desk top.
Rename the file extension to .m4r
Delete the old .mp3 file out of iTunes
Drag and drop the new .m4r into itunes
Sync iPhone and you should be good to go.

Your only option is to jailbreak it if you want to do that

Use a program like iToner.
