Just got iPad. Is there a way to JB?

I did a search but I guess I'm using the wrong terms.

I just got my 2nd ipad. I have a computer with itunes 9.1 but the ipad is 3.2.1.


Can I downgrade the ipad and then JB? Is there a guide that someone can point me to? Maybe we need a sticky.

I also got my iPad preinstalled with FW 3.2.1 & as I understand it, with out the SHSH blob of a prior FW from your particular iPad, then you/we have nothing which we can downgrade to.

We just have to wait for the next JB..

I could be wrong, but again, I believe that the SHSH blob needed to downgrade your particular unit must be from your particular unit.

You cant just use someone elses SHSH blob on your iPad.

Be patient, there will be another JB ASAP...

Like they said, your SHSHs can only come from your iPad. The older Spirit tool would work with iTunes 9.1, & there has been a new tool for 9.2. But, with firmware 3.2.1, you will have to wait. If you are lucky, the next Spirit JB will be able to work for 3.2.1 as well as all of the iPhones running 4.0. And just in case you haven't downloaded Tiny Umbrella in order to save your SHSH, I'd recommend doing that.
