Just got Logic Board replaced do I need to reformat HDD

I just had my LB replaced and prior to sending it to apple I took out my self-installed SSD and put the old spinner back in. Will I need to reformat the drive to get it to work with the new LB or should it just boot right up?

No need to reformat or anything. Just pop it back in and it will work.

Are you saying that Apple replaced the MB under Applecare, or that you paid for the MB yourself?
