I just bought a Magic Mouse and have read about both programs. Do I need both, or is one enough? Are they even both compatible to where I am running both? Basically, what's the best setup? Thank you.

Just got Magic Mouse, do I need BOTH MagicPrefs and BTT?

You don't need either, but you are free to use whichever one you like best if you want to get more from your mouse (like, say, bring the acceleration rate up to a non-glacial pace or be able to actually middle click--handy for opening tabs in browsers, although I had to put a dot of clear glue on my mouse so I could feel where to press). BTT was the first such program available, but many find MagicPrefs easier to use. Having both won't hurt, although since they do nearly the same thing, you'll probably only want one.
Not needing the "extra" functions, I tried MoreMagic, which only fixes the acceleration issue, and it does that very well too.
