Just got mine. 16” 32 core 2TB.
I read some observations and some complaints already on the forum so I knew what to expect or look for.

Safari scrolling
Some users complained that the ProMotion wasn’t working because some webpage scrolling isn’t fluid like the iPhone/iPad.
True, I found some webpages including this forum sometimes jerk in the middle of the page.
This isn’t a ProMotion issue. It’s a Safari issue. Websites load different scripts into desktop browsers than iOS browsers. Some webpages load a ton of scripts. Some ads with animations and videos are forcing 60hz.
Sites that are not loading tons of ad scripts have amazing smooth scrolling just like the tablet versions.

Bloom and ghosting
There is some but not much different from a top Sony OLED or Samsung QLED. It’s generally easy to ignore and not visible in detailed live action or colorful scenes.
Must keep in mind, there is no such thing as zero bloom on any consumer or prosumer device. Even our eye sight naturally has some bloom as the photons bounces around in the back of our eyes, even worse if we don’t have perfect vision. Shake your hand in front of your face. We even naturally see ghosting ??

Screen calibration.
Out of the box there was a slight yellow tint compared to the calibrated monitors we have. Apple has traditionally always done this. Their version of D65 is not exactly white point, more like 5000-5500K, and I suspect when they make this profile they didn’t control their environment lighting.

The speakers are insanely full and loud. If I was younger I would love it but now with my gray chin 50% audio is enough for me.

Notch.
I set the background to black solid color and also I’m looking for dark wallpapers that fade to black at the top. The notch is easy to ignore and forgettable. I use a webcam about once a month. I hate smiling and streaming my mug on the internet and there are no photos of me on the internet for ClearView AI nazi company, Palantir nazi company or any dictator spy agencies to stick in their database.
