hey guys i just got my mac from macmall . i got the
(Intel Core 2 Duo 2.2GHz, 15" TFT Glossy Screen, 2GB DDR2, 120GB SATA, Nvidia GeForce 8600 128MB, 8x SuperDrive, 10/100/1000BASE-T, Airport Extreme, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR & iSight, OS X 10.5 Leopard)

1. im interested to running windows and linux so i need a bigger hard drive so whats the highest capacity i can get and where can i purchase it ?

2. Which one of these software's is the best for switcihng os
a)Parallels Desktop 3.0 for Mac
b)VMware Fusion
c)Apple Boot Camp

First off congrats on the computer.

1) 500GB and you can get it from Other World Computing.

2) I prefer VMware to Parallels, but it's really preference. VMware is more robust. And BootCamp is not software, it's just a BIOS emulator that allows you to run Windows. Linux may be more difficult to run in BootCamp, but it should have no issues in VMware.
 
I've run Linux easily using Parallels. I would echo the last post though in that VM Fusion is preferable to Parallels.
