about a week of waiting after ordering on apple canada website i finally got it today, picked it up from Fedex.

so far so good!

i don't think i will be reinstalling anything.. so far all seems good

my first mac too!

newly converted macintology member.
can't wait to install other apps and take it for test ride.
 
Yes, congratulations! If you haven't been using a mac before, you're in for a treat...

I am in the same situation here. First time Mac user. All I can can say is sit back and enjoy it. Come back to the forums, look around and ask questions. It is definately worth it. :D
