Hey everyone it came in!!! I cant be more happier no dead pixels and not one scratch on the whole thing. I would def by refurbished products again!! Although it has only been an hour of use. So well see. To be honest I dont think this display has ever been used! Ill post pics soon

Not at all I put my desktop to all black and the clarity is unbelievable!! I am more than impressed!

I'm starting to think "refurb" is the way to go since, as someone has mentioned, these are products that have been twice tested so the chances of something going wrong may just be less than a "new" product.

Any pics? I'm on the fence whether to get the 23' or wait to see if Apple comes out with famous DVI-Mini Display Port cable we all want.
pics wouldnt hurt but congrats, I'm thinking about getting a 23"b/c they are so much cheaper than full price

It was $795 with tax. I bough it off apples refurbished store. Unfortunately they are out of the 23" model. Only the 20" and 30" are left. But the 23" was gone one day when I wanted to buy at and a couple days later it was back on. For a cheaper model the only place I would know of is ebay or craigslist. They also have some brand new on bestbuy's website. I will get pics soon. I accidentally left my camera somewhere so it will be a couple of days.
Congrats on the 23", as I already posted in a reply to another poster looking for New 23" ACD's The local Apple Store has a few left.
I get a discount because of work and bought the 20" brand new, and will get the Applecare for the Mac Pro that also covers the Apple Cinema display either on ebay or where I got my mac pro.

Sucks because the look really sleek and nice.
You can buy a 24" DELL S-PVA LCD for $500 new most of the time.
Hell, you can get a Dell 30" refurb for the same price as you paid for that 23".
Not saying it is a bad monitor, because it has a good panel and looks very nice. Just costs wayyy more than it should.

They are good monitors. There are times though when the graininess just gets to me. You know, the antiglare coating that is on the display? After I've been using the Mac pro with my 23" display for a few weeks, I'll go back to my iMac and notice just how much more clearer that display is. Sometmes I wish I never bought the ACD.
