Hey, I just purchased my iMac 20" / 2.66Ghz / 2G RAM / 320G HD

Now how do I check if my screen has any dead pixels or shading issues? Like if the screen is darker in corners or anything?

I just want to make sure it's perfect, so if it isn't, I can take it back.

Thanks again

Perfection is literally in the eye of the beholder. If it looks fine to you then it is. You are the only acceptable critic of your machine.

If you ever owned a white imac,That was perfect.Congrats on you're new imac. The screen might not be as good as the white but overall it is a great machine.Goodluck and enjoy.

Save my two attached files (the very small white one and black one) to your desktop (or wherever you want). Open one in Quick Look and make it full screen. Check for anomalies. Repeat with the other color. You're done.
