Just got my new MBP

came today just finished doing all the updates etc just installing the new Ilife 09 which came with it glad I don't have to pay the extra for it,

very pleased with my machine so far no visible defects dead pixels etc etc.

moved over from an ultra slow windows machine so this feels like lightning,

loving the multi touch so incredibly handy

I'm in the same boat mate, just got mine this morning and feel exactly the same way. Ordered it from the online store late on Sat night as well so excellent delivery time. Very early days but I think it's absolutely worth the money so far. As advertised, it was SO easy to set up, was especially impressed with the way it synced everything from my iphone onto the MBP. Saved a lot of time.

Awesome machine. Plus it looks so good that I don't want to touch it in case it marks it at all!!

Got mine yesterday and did the same - loaded iLife and all the updates.

Working like a dream so far, so good!

Now if only work didn't get in the way and I could go home and enjoy it

got mine yesterday with ssd. I love it! the hinge is fine. I repeat, fine. ssd is silent, no fans kicking in, feels great, looks great. this one is a keeper. congrats.

btw-glossy screen is great! incredibly clear. no issues here. for me at least.

LOL. Mine's been running in closed clamshell mode connected to my TV since I got it and checked it for dead pixels and backlight bleed. This wireless keyboard and mouse are kick-ass!

I like the feel of the wireless keyboard over the MacBook Pro's keyboard. It's clickier. If it were backlit too it would really be tits!

Plus, the audio sounds good enough across the room even with the lid closed for watching occasional clips on the interwebs.
