just got the 17inch imac

and i want to transfer just my photos and music from my powerbook to it......there is a firewire cable running between them, but i dont know how to transfer the files since neither computer is mounting on the other or anything, and i dont want to copy settings or anything like that........if someone helps me out ill post pics thanks

You need to use Target Disk Mode. The guide's instructions are pretty clear, I think.
