Just got the new macbook pro but seem to have a problem...

I did migration assistant and transferred about 80GB of my data. The problem is with lion I have no idea why but when I go to click finder to open up a window it does not open. I click a music photo I have on my desktop it doesn't open. When I hold down the command button and use an arrow like i'm using "spaces" the folders pop up for a few seconds but disappear when the screen transition stops. Can someone please help me and explain why the finder windows don't open up. Thanks

I fixed it, I forget how but I did but i'm good to go now!
