Anyone can call in with your serial number and have AppleCare transferred from one device to the other. Most times they will ask for proof of purchase but I've done it a few times were they haven't (with my own devices of course), so this guy needs to remove his serial number asap!!!
I'll pick mine up next month.. Waiting for 10.8 and $$$

Mine is here. Comparing it to my early 2011 Hi Res anti glare screen right now
I've seen it happen, but at the end if anything were to happen the original user does "win" if they have all documentation. So it's not a HUGE problem but it's time consuming if it were to happen.

Different screen I am surprised that there is not that much difference between the two. Actually screen space in Safari is about the same. Menu Bar icons much smaller on my 2011. Also, Safari book marks bar and such font smaller on the 2011. Even on close inspection I'd be hard pressed to see much difference in font quality but I wear glasses. Still playing with it
you can actually change the screen resolution to be bigger/smaller so safari will change. im using the option between the (best) retina and smallest.

system > Library> core services > dock > contents > resources
then backup the files ur gonna change and replace them

Have you had any issues with your battery? Mine gave about 4.5 hrs yesterday. charged it full last night, and today it's draining at an astonishing rate. 25% in 30 minutes. Only running word, powerpoint, preview and safari(no youtube videos or flash content) and 60% brightness...might have to exchange my unit if this keeps happening in the next couple of days.
I'm dying to know how (non-retina) custom docks, icons, walls, etc. look with retina. Do they look blurry and worse than old MBP? If so are they usable? Does the web look like crap? Blurry graphics, images, etc?

I have a scheduled delivery for Monday as well. My tracking information hasn't updated for almost 24 hours (after it left Alaska), however, so it doesn't look like I'm getting anything today.
