Just Installed 850 Evo in MBP 2012

Hi,
I have just successfully installed the 850 eve into my MBP. I have been reading about Trim. Should I enable it if so how or which programs to use. I have read that the 850 automatically enables Trim. Anything else I should do after installing an SSD. I just replaced the old HDD and put the SSD, I didn't reset anything. Should I reset the PRAM or NVRAM?

I numbered your questions for ease of answering.
1. I personally would. But not doing so should not harm anything. TRIM Enabler works quite well.

2. Whatever your source is gave you wrong information. On any Apple laptop, if the SSD is not Apple branded (as in, it shipped with the machine, or was removed from a machine that shipped with it) will not have TRIM enabled by default.

3. Enjoy your snappier hard drive.

4. You can if you want to, but it would have absolutely no use or effect.
