Just installed the latest OSX updates, and now my MBP won't recognise my battery.

It's charged to 100% and only on 22 cycles. SMC reset doesn't work and it's only happened since I've installed the last update. Anyone have any ideas about what's going on?

Does it recognize the battery when you boot to the recovery partition?

If not, it sounds like a hardware issue. I'd take it in to Apple.
