Just grabbed a like-new 17" MBP with the following specs:

17" matte display
16GB RAM
512GB SSD
AppleCare until February next year.

$1900.

I think if it's in good shape, and you appreciate a 17" Matte Screen, it's a good deal.

I bought a refurb for around $2.1K and had to add my own memory and SSD, so I think you're money ahead if it hasn't been abused.
