I bought a macbook pro a couple of days ago and just noticed that there is a white grayish blemish on the right side of the frame. It's somewhat visible.

I tried to clean it off but it looks like the "paint" is sanded etc. Should I return it or keep it? I paid over 2k for it, I feel that I should get a good quality machine.

I'm thinking about keeping it because it's just a small area that has the blemish and it's not that visible. What would you do??

I would completely obsess over it. Scream at the top of my lungs that it is "ruining my life" and come online to try to rally a bunch of strangers into hating Apple for ruining my life.

But thats just me....

Sounds like someone got a little excited all over your MBP. I'd return it, but I'm retentive about stuff like that.

It's barely visible. Also, it's not a scratch. It's actually a discoloration. At this point, I'm just going to keep it.
