Just noticed ad skipping on the touch bar-youtube

Anybody else notice this yet? Full ads where you can't fast forward to the end on the screen works with the touch bar if you scrub till the end. Been trying it for the past few minutes and seems to skip past ads where otherwise you can't. Somebody else test this out thanks

Perhaps it's a marketing ploy by Apple and Google. I mean, those extra $300 are bound to end up in someone's pocket, right?
