Just opened brand new iphone 6s plus found warranty had been strated month ago

Just open sealed iphone 6s plus found in apple site its warranty from 17 jan 2016 to 16 jan 2017 and iphone color is sealed space gray but in apple told me its gold ?!!!!

Anyone can shrink wrap a box and tell you it's brand new.
