Just ordered 24" iMac :D

Well, after a lot of going back and forth between waiting on a merom MBP, and finally deciding i could do without the portability, i ordered a 24" iMac from the Apple Store.

This is my first Mac purchase in 3.5 years (currently own a Titanium PowerBook G4). I can't wait to get it!

The extra ram was actually cheaper from Apple than Crucial ($158 vs. $190) respectively for an additional 1GB.

Here are the specs:

I wish i could have afforded that beautiful piece of art! But i could only afford the better 17 inch model....which is more than enough for my needs anyways:eek: ...

but anyways have fun with it and i hope it ships and delivers early.....mine just shipped 2 hours after i bought it even though it wasn't supposed to ship until thursday! Thats impressive if you ask me, 2 hour turn around! albeit i bought stock but still it's saturday and i am very impressed........now if only fedex will be as speedy as the folks as apple i could have my computer by tues, or wed!

mine shipped on thursday, and I live in the toronto area... when doo you think mine should be in by? does tuesday or wednesday sound reasonable?
 
Nope i did standard 5 day shipping since it was free and it was supposed to come Oct. 6th, originally. But it arrived very early!


6 days from online custom order to delivery...sweet!
 
Congrats! I can't wait to get mine, I just put an order for mine. Slightly upgraded but still not fully tricked out like yours :p
