Pulled the trigger on a 16 Pro Max. I got $450 bucks for my 14 Pro Max. With the departure of the 14 Pro Max, that is the last device I had with the Lightning cable is gone. Hallelujah! Now I need to decide on a case, another Otterbox defender, or something else. I selected the Black Titanium case, not that it will matter it will live inside a case like all of the others.

Currently still using my 14 Pro, and slightly tempted to get a 16 Pro to be done with lightning and such. Wasn't really that excited about the 16 when it came out... let's see if I can hold out till the 17 arrives :p

I do have a couple AirPods Pro cases with lightning still, unfortunately.

I went from an 13 Pro Max to a 16 Pro and to be honest with you, im not even sure wtf this phone does that my 13 didn’t. I don’t even feel like it’s any faster.. really let down with this generation. I used to buy a new iPhone every year until the 6’s.. then I skipped every 2 years, then a few years, and now I don’t even know when I’ll upgrade next.

In my honest opinion, by the time Apple meets my expectations for what I want, their hardware and software will be dated and replaced by xAi, OpenAI, and all the other new comers.
