I just finally order a Mac pro for my work

Its to replace a Custom Made PC with XP Pro
currently im using a Intel P4 3.0 with HT
3gb Ram
Pair of Raided Raptors as the boot drive
and a 200gb Storage drive

The Mac Pro I ordered to replace this machine is a
Mac pro 2.6
4GB Ram
160Gb HDD
Ati X1900 Vid card

I will be moving one of the raptors to act as the boot drive in the mac pro
and will be adding two Seagate 320GB Hddrives in a mirroed raid for storage

I hope it will be faster when running Photoshop (even in non native mode)
then the P4 and I cant wait for CS3

It Should arrive in a week
PS. the machine in my signature is my home machine.. not my machine at work

Congratulations, don't worry about Mac Pro not holding up against the P4 in Photoshop, it will be a lot faster, even running Rosetta, you have nothing to worry with 4GB of RAM (be sure to get a 4x1GB setup but I think thats obvious), my stock Mac Pro with 1GB is still faster than my 3.2ghz P4 computer in Photoshop and its very RAM limited at that point thank to Rosetta, with 4GB RAM and taking full advantage of the quad channel memory subsystem (by having 4 dimms) Mac pro should really pull ahead.
