After getting responses from many of you, I finally ordered my dual 2.3 pm today. I upgraded to the 9650 card, and added BT and airport.

Now I can order some ram! I also have waiting still in the boxes a dell 2005fw 20" wide, and a 74 gb raptor drive. I want to set them up all at once! :)

Thanks guys!

What machine does it replace? However, whatever machine it replaced, your new G5 will be so bloody fast, you'll kick yourself for not upgrading soooner.

Thanks for the congrats guys! It will replace my my 1ghz g4 powerbook, so I am expecting some major improvement! I'll let you know when I get it!

Thanks again!

i envy you! you can't even imagine!
my next machine is going to be a dual prozessor G5 (or whatever is out there) and a 20" cinema display. right now i have 800 bucks! :) so it might take a while... in the mean time i'm gonna abuse my nice little iBook 12" with 1.2 Ghz a little bit..

anyways, have fun with your system!!

I just got my Dual 2.0 Powermac earlier this week and I could not be happier with it. This thing is a screamer! Congrats on your purchase!

I'm waiting for my Gig of RAM to arrive :D

I ordered the same machine but with a 20" Cinema Display, I didn't like the 20" iMac G5 2.0 GHz I got earlier this week. I really like Apple's return policy!

I really enjoy the 20 inch imac G5. I had the powermac, but it was huge. Even for heavy processing I find the iMac to be reasonably comperable to the powermac.

You made a great purchase though...you will not be upset.
