Hello forum, I just ordered a 27" iMac and am pretty excited about it. One thing though, I am starting to bump into posts and articles about a possible refresh of the iMac in "Late 2011".

Any ideas what Apple could possibly add to a refresh this soon after a recent refresh? I just don't want to have it for a month just to find out I could have bought the "new and improved" one for the same price.

Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.

The buyers guide could have answered this for you but, in any case... Chances are the refresh will be sometime around the March-May timeframe. The iMac is a little above half its regular cycle. You certainly won't be seeing a refresh within a month and even if you did (again, won't happen), chances are, there won't be any huge new things.

I appreciate the quick response. The buyer's guide has always been very helpful and I based my purchase on that. Your reply has put my mind at ease. I don't have a computer at the moment so dropping 2k on one is big for me. Thanks again.
