Well, the magnetic strip on my credit card is almost burned off, but I've just ordered my new MBP. I got the base model, but with the 7200RPM hard drive. Then there are the accessories:

Extra power adapter and the Marware Protection Pack coming from Apple.

Kensington USB Hub and Griffin Elevator coming from Amazon.

4GB RAM coming from Crucial (in an oddity, Crucial's site was cheaper than NewEgg)

Sleeve and screen protector coming from RadTech.

Here's hoping I get a good one, and not one with the apparently many defects :(

It will effectively be replacing 3 computers - my old PB G4, my old G5, and my old PC. The PB and PC shall be sold, and the G5 connected to my TV in the living room. I'll try to post some pics once I get the new computer set up :)

Wait.... I thought the MB Pro could only handle 4GB of RAM... 2+4=6 and I am pretty confident in my math. ?

I'm sure he means 4GB as in 2x2GB. People say the SR MBPs can handle 8GB RAM, but there are no 4GB RAM Sticks yet.
