Hi All,

Erm....

... I wanted my new watch set up exactly the same as my old watch, so I chose the option “restore from backup” or whatever the wording is.

The new AW6 is now up an running. Fab :D

However, my old watch is no longer on the Iphone watching app. I thought both should be showing there now?

Questions:

Q1) I take it if I wanted everyone transferred to the new watch, I had to choose the option restore from backup”?

Q2) Do I now need to re-pair my old AW6 to my Iphone?

Q3) Running 2 watches on 1 iphone - Is it best NOT to do this If I’m not particuly careful about how I wear them/Use them? I.e Am I going to get duplication of data? E.g. Foot steps. Amount of time stood up etc. Etc.

Q4) Has the old watch now had my my data wiped off it? Auto sleep looks ok, so I presume not.

Missus will use the old watch for interval running training etc.
I suppose a back up watch for a while would be a good idea.

Hope you can advise! :)

Regards
Martin

On top left corner of the app should say All watch or something like that and you can find it there. I too had problem finding it earlier and took me a while, I don't think it was that intuitive.

1. Yes

2. No

3. I could be wrong but you still can only wear one watch at a time? I tried to wear both but only one is detected. I know they changed to where you can now pair another watch while your old one is still paired

4. No your data on your old watch should not be wiped.

Sounds like you need to re-pair the old watch to the phone. I suggest giving each watch a different name after pairing. That way, you know which is which and you won’t get confuzzled.

You can pair up to 5 watches to one phone without any problems. Having 2 is fine. A lot of people here do that.
