I've noticed, when flipping my 3rd gen iPad to use in a different orientation, that the entire screen looks pinkish-red. The kind of thing you see with non IPS panels when tilted. It can only be seen from the left and at an angle. I never saw this on my iPad 2. Does this have something to do with the new retina screen? Is this just part of the tech?

I've mostly noticed this on dark images or an all black screen.

Thanks. I saw in another thread that someone said that's just the way the new ipads are built, but I wasn't sold on that. I haven't had my hands on another new iPad to compare.

I don't know about everyone else's but mine does not have this at all.
And I don't see how this should be normal either.
