I picked up a Razer DeathAdder from BestBuy but ended up taking it back - after about 90 minutes, the rough texture was irritating my palm.

Ended up with this instead:

So far I've spent about 4 hours of gaming on it - and it's been fantastic!

I figure I'll work it over a couple of weeks, and give a more in-depth review on it :)

Good purchase! I got myself a G500, refurbished of eBay and it seems like one of the best mice I have owned. Logitech software is fairly simple for Mac and doesn't contain too much crap luckily.

I'm seeing that - and a I definitely appreciate it. The mouse has been flawless for me so far :)

I thought the G700 was too light and didn't care much for the surface. But if you prefer an easy to move mouse with good ergonomics, the G700 is a good bet.

Another I would check out is the SteelSeries Sensei line. It's got more heft and is real quality build. Its got some cool lights on it -- I don't care about that but some people might like it.

Also, I don't like the Razer line either. The materials should be better, instead of the cheap plastic feel.
