I received my 8gb touch today as part of the back to school promo and I could definitively use a point in the right direction.
Thus far, I installed the 2.0 update, and added a few free apps. Unfortunately, some of the cool looking ones don't work in Canada yet.
I'm not impressed with maps, it cannot route from my house to an address 20 km away. Maybe that could be because it thinks that Quebec is part of the USA. I know we export a lot of power / raw materials down south but, i digress.
Is there something that I must do to educate my touch in basic geography?
I enjoy the photo application, is there a way to sort it by events like in iphoto 08? Picking a few pictures out of 1500 is, an adventure.
Should I look into jailbreaking this puppy? Otherwise, is there a good online review / videos on how to get the most out of this toy?
