Hey everyone - just pulled the trigger on a 15" 2.2ghz i7 MBP. I had been looking at the high end 13, but decided that the power and screen size of the 15 was just way too appealing. The best part? THE 15 WAS CHEAPER. I'd recommend the last gen 15 to anyone who was considering a new 13, unless portability is a huge factor for you.

I would say apple has the best deals on refurbished. their "refurbished" computers were either manufactured right before a refresh or returned within 14 days and rebuilt with brand new parts. The price of the i7 15 I just bought was 1350, 1440 with tax.
i was thinking the same thing, but so confused.
