just purchased a refurbished ipad 1 64gb/3g from newegg

I must say its extremely nice, and i am highly impressed i got an otterbox as well and it does the job of protecting the ipad and comes along with a free stand. Im so happy with the product. Even though i have a iphone 3gs, there is something unique about having the larger screen. Maybe its just the fact that i enjoy appl's IOs system better than androids... but its really nice... i think i had to take stepping stones to make a switch to apple.. first iphone then ipad and soon mac book, (im leaving windows in the dust!).

But yes, im happy, thanks for the info it really helped me in making my final decision.!

Nice! I've been thinking of buying a recertified from Newegg also. Whats the warranty like through apple? Does it still come with 1 year of support through apple?

Apple would have most likely still taken care of you. I've never seen Apple turn there nose up.
