Couldn't bear any longer the scratches on the Magic Mouse 2 surface. 149€/$ for the Magic Trackpad 2. For the time being I'm not impressed with the experience, I find it too big and uncomfortable. I'd rather use the mouse but I can't stand those ugly scratches on that crappy plastic surface looking at me. I'm wondering if the scent of a brand new Apple product has any psychoactive effect as to make you addicted to splurge on their products - I swear that if this was any other brand I would've already stopped buying their products.

I bought my girlfriend a Trackpad 2 thinking since she’s on her computer all day she may like the change. She absolutely hated it and went back to the mouse. She gave it back to me so I could return it and I decided to give it a try and I ended up loving the thing! I threw my Magic Mouse in the drawer and haven’t used it since. Thankfully Apple has a generous no questions asked return for 14 days so you can try something to see if it works for you..

I'll keep the mouse only because I want to have all the accessories but won't be using it.
As to the Trackpad maybe it's me but my hand and wrist muscles get sore easily. And there's a lot of gestures, still messing up on them. Hopefully I'll get used to it.

Getting used to the Trackpad. I'm now enjoying it actually, more than that crappy mouse I'd gladly throw at Tim Cook's ugly mug. Loving the Force Touch functionality. The biggest downside is the soreness of my hand/wrist/forearm after a few minutes of usage. Not the most comfortable thing. I must be stupid to keep splurging on Apple.
