Just purchased two of these 24 inch monitors ... good choice?

Samsung 24" They got pretty decent reviews.

My mac pro 8 core with 8800gt is coming in a few days, and I'm just making sure everything will work out ok.

Depending on what you are going to use them for it might be a problem that they are using TN-panels.

Can you please explain this further- I know I'm going to have to adjust the color for mac settings when I first get these.

I'm basically just using them for extra real estate (duh I know). I'm going to be doing some vid/pic editing. In a few months I'll be doing some HD video editing.

if its professional, then you may find them a bit of a problem, but if its just as a hobby, then im sure that you'll be fine

Based on reviews, it's a TN. $419 is a little steep for a TN panel.
