Just received iMac /Lion to upgrade or clean install?

Ok here is my question, i just received my iMac and have begun setting it up for video editing. I am wondering though, should I be going through all this trouble with Lion on the horizon? Will an upgrade from SL to Lion be ok or will a clean install be preferred?

lion can only be obtained though the mac app store at the moment (when it comes out) so you need SL to have access to the mac app store

Hmm, I guess the upgrade should not be a huge deal then. If its only APP store available, then it must be something Apple already thought about.

You simply buy it from the App Store, click agree a couple of times and wait ~30mins and your Lion is ready. All your apps and files will be where they were in SL. Upgrading OS X isn't as painful as upgrading Windows for instance.
