awesome i was interested in buying this case, but was reluctant on what it'll look like. pics as soon as you can =D thanks for taking one for the team :rolleyes:
 
got mine in today too. it doesn't work with the smartcover but i'm heavily considering cutting the left side to try to allow it. i think it would look awesome with the red smartcover.

So, what do you think of the results?

I got to thinking that the Smart Cover would lay flat on the face of the iPad 2 with a case like this one. Isn't there a small lip around the edge of the face of the iPad 2? Seems like there'd be air space between the Smart Cover and the face of the iPad 2. Is that true?

Also, how did you cut it? What would you do differently if you were to try again? It looks OK, just not straight.

OK, one more: does that case fit tight or is it real "stretchy"?
 
I ordered this one, but from eBay. $4.99 free shipping! It was a bit hard to get all the way on but once it's on, it feels great. The edges kind of slide off but I mean for 5 bucks, it works.
 
How does the back/side feel, as far as a grip? Is it rubbery or closer to a TPU? And does the textured sides make it easier to hold while reading?
