Yesterday was a big holiday for women here in Greece, and my friends restaurant/bar had about 200 women reserved, which turned into more than that. Anyways, he asked me to do some video of the night, which I did. Now I have about 3 hours of video, recorded from my Sony camcorder on mini DVs. What do I do next? I want to chop them down and post some on Youtube, and do some other things as well. What programs do you all suggest? I work for an electronics company, so I can get my hands on any program for Mac. I have a Pinnacle transfer for Windows, but since my Sony has FW, I figured I would use the Mac for the FW transfer. Thoughts/opinions? Thanks!

You most probably need a 4-pin to 9-pin Firewire cable like the following:

The 4-pin end goes into your camera, the 9-pin end into your iMac.

Or you can use a 4-pin to 6-pin Firewire cable like this:

You iMac might have a Firewire 400 port:

When connected either use iMovie or QuickTime to capture your video.
