Hey guys, just thought I'd let you all know I just (finally) finished version 40 of iProcrastinate! For all of you who have never used it, it's a cool little app I wrote to help students (or anyone, really) keep track of tasks and sort them by priority!

New in this version are Saving (woo hoo!), a cool Date Picker (woo hoo x2!), a cooler UI, for those of you who said you were having problems on a 12" PB, and much better archiving of assignments!

I wanna thank all you guys for your help with coding, suggestions, my webpage, etc. Thanks so much! If you like it, Digg It! :)

last time you posted this, I said 'well, that looks interesting, i'll try it later'.

but i've d/led it and it looks great!

Thanks so much :D

As always, I'm open to criticism/suggestions/comments/ideas, no matter how crazy they might sound. :) All I ask is if you do have ideas, post 'em here rather than through e-mail or PM so everyone else can give their feedback as well!

Nice work! When I first started working on YummySoup! I origionally wanted to use the descrite NSLevelIndicatorCell as well, but found it horribly slow. I ended up using the concinuus style, but I found some great code from Toxic Software, to solve the problem. Check out their replacement NSLevelIndicator
Awesome, I'll do my best to use that instead of the default indicator in the next version! BTW, I really like your YummySoup! app, it looks great, are you working on it solo?

Real quick though, could you post a link or quick hint-like info on how you added that + bar to the bottom of the recipe list? (All the way to the left.) Really does look great, and I like the front row remote idea :)

Cool app. Heres some stuff that i think would be neat if added.

  • Priority meter goes up depending on the due date.
  • Add time to due date
  • Ability to export data to ical
  • Add a "What is due today" and / or what is due tomorrow / 2 days / 3 days / next week

Sweet, thanks for the ideas :) Here's what I think:

  • Priority meter goes up depending on the due date - Good idea, but I thought it was best to leave the priority up to the user. :)
  • Add time to due date - Tried that, but then the dueDate column was reeeally wide. Maybe next version will have a preference for it.
  • Ability to export data to iCal - I'm waiting on Leopard for their iCal API, rather than fiddling around with 3rd party ones.
  • Add a "What is due today" and / or what is due tomorrow / 2 days / 3 days / next week - I really like this one, I'll see what I can do! :D

Ah, and by the way, I've had a report from one person who, after upgrading to the new version, lost all of his previous assignments and classes. Has anybody else had this problem? Thanks!

Hi it looks great, I have another suggestion that would really make it amazing. When I was at Uni I was working on my dissertation in Geology and had at least 30 files I was working on before I amalgamated them into one document. it would be good if there was a file section in assignments that would enable you to click on a link to open a file that you have been working on.
