okay so i just fixed my iphone its a 2g. the headphone jack stopped working so i ordered a new one and it was attached to a ribbon cable that controlls the rest of the buttons. i just finished putting it in put the phone back together, turned it on, and everything is reversed, the silent switch shows the correct setting on the screen but when switched to normal the vibrate goes on and when switched to silent it does nothing, just flash the speaker with a line thru it. now if i press the vol up button the volume goes up but it says (headphones) and with headphones plugged in it just says volume, and sounds play out the speaker... whats up? and how can i fix this?
