Just reserved the $999 13" Macbook Pro

at Microcenter since there's tax free holiday in MA this weekend. I have a crappy 17" HP laptop that is on its deathbead so I'm glad I finally splurged

Quick question: I'm pretty sure I'm going to upgrade the hard drive to a 500GB one but which one do you recommend? Is Western Digital Scorpio Blue 500GB 5,400 RPM any good? Microcenter has two of them but one has "OEM" at the end of the name and I don't know what that means.

Can someone give me tips on how to care for a Macbook Pro?

OEM means it comes with the edit: just the drive in an antistatic bag.

I have the Scorpio Blue, it's absolutely perfect.

Its the other way around. Retail means it comes with box and junk. OEM is cheaper and comes with a drive only in antistatic bag without cables, box and junk
