Had the 5 for a few days and it's a gorgeous device, but just not enough of an upgrade to justify £529 (I'm mid contract). For those with an out of contract 4 or 3GS it's a no brainer. But I'm going to sit this one out. Incidentally it was a black model and not a mark or scratch on it, but I was having wifi connection issues.

Seeing as you are also from the UK, it's even less of an upgrade for us without 4G here. The only upgrade is a slightly taller screen, the speed of the A6 vs A5 is negligible, totally not worth the upgrade.

Completely agree... No real point in upgrading until 4g roles out

The phone as a product is not as exciting as it used to be 5 years ago. What more does the OP reasonably want to make it a worthy upgrade?

I look at the iPhones now just as I look at the iPad. It makes more sense to upgrade every 2 years. It is not a contract thing, I'm personally clear of that issue right now, but it is just not cost effective to keep upgrading.

Same boat as you.

Yeah I can understand that reason in the UK. LTE is almost nonexistent there compared to the States. But the phone has an improved display and other features that some may enjoy.
