Just saw Apple's 3G S iPhone Voice Recorder being used at Michael Jackson...

Sad news about Jacko.

I watched that press conference and did not see it.

But I was not looking for it either.
 
kinda cool, but whoever that reporter is, they're an idiot. They had the speaker down facing them instead of up towards the coroner, where it would have gotten better quality sound

Yup, I was thinkin' the same thing (but not in the "idiot" range), but maybe along the lines that they don't really know what they'll have until they get back to the studio or the person on the other end of the email notifies them that the sound quality is just OK......:eek::eek::eek:
 
I have noticed this past year with the 3G that there have been numerous occasions during post-game NBA interviews in the locker rooms that there have been people using Voice Recording programs...

Of course until now they were forced to use 3rd Party Apps. .

The iPhone 3GS is not fatter. I don't know where you got that information from. It's the same dimensions as the iPhone 3G. iPhone 3G cases will indeed fit the iPhone 3GS exactly.

haha yup, same here... I was wondering what the hell he was pointing at (right as I was thinking that the guy flipped it around :D )
 
This is totally off topic, but why is adding the cliffhanger ellipsis to thread titles becoming suddenly popular on MR?

We've actually started using the Voice Recorder for remotes at the radio station I work at. The talent records their remote using their iPhone, emails the file to the station, and we throw it up on the air.

Sounds great on-air - almost as if it's live. It's a heck of a lot better than the old method (having the talent call in, and broadcasting their phone call... awful quality).
