It's just a macro shot of the tip of a branch (if thats what you call it) of some bush.

Looks pretty good. Looking at the shadows in the warehouse photos, it looks like they were taken midday. Try shooting in the same area, if possible, during the "Golden Hour" (about 1 hr after sunrise, 1 hr before sunset). That light will give you some great colors, shadows, saturation, etc. and really make the photos pop.

I can't help but think that #8 could look better with some cropping, but for the life of me I can't figure out exactly how to crop it to improve it.
