The screen kept locking up at random times. I got fed up with it happening once every day and decided to take it into the Genius bar and see what they had to say.

The guy asked a few questions and told me that they will just switch it out. They did and here are a few things I noticed after syncing back up:

1. The volume is quite a bit louder.
2. The vibrate setting is much stronger.
3. Transitioning from one app to another seems smoother and doesn't take as long to load.
4. This is probably a problem with my specific phone but the volume button on the side feels different; specifically the "volume down" button. It feels shallow and not as responsive.

Just wanted to share.

My wife just exchanged her iPhone for a refurbished one in an Apple store. I noticed that the speaker volume on it is considerably louder than her old one and the two I've had.

What week iPhone did the genius bar swap you out with?
