Just Thought Of An Idea For A Tweak............

Just popped in my head while browsing mac rumors.....

Since we do not have any led light notifications that tells us of a missed call, message ect.

Is it possible to come up with a tweak to have your backlit light of the screen flash once every 2 or 3 seconds (I guess you can adjust to your liking) when you receive a message or a missed call?

great idea, id get this tweak if it was out there, im constantly looking if i have a missed alert if i was away from the phone for a few mins

Would it kill the battery to power the whole lcd and then have say only a light in the corner?

They should put one either in the home button or up at the top (like the green light on Macs when you use iSight).

I used the love the blinking on my old phone....its easy to miss a cal etc and so I liked ot have a reminder. notifier used to have a reminder part of it that you could set repeat ones for missd emails, SMS, calls etc, but I think the upgrade to ios 4 killed this and its never been worked on since.

Which wouldn't stop it from annoying those of us that don't want it at all.

And really, the proper response is "Stop sleeping with your eyes open"
