I traded my compaq laptop for an older ibook g4 1.2/512 on tuesday, it has leopard on it. so far im much happier being back using os x. windows 7 is decent but apple os x is just far better in my opinion. even this battery in the ibook last longer than the battery on the new compaq. i get 3-31/2 hours out of this battery with 200 cycles on it. apple is the best one can get. never going back to windows i dont think!

if it was a newer Windows laptop you probably could have sold it and bought a PowerBook G4. But if your happy that's all that matters.
actually in a way i did sell the windows laptop, my friend needed it for work, he couldnt use the ibook since his company only had windows software for his job so he gave me $275.00 for it then asked me if i wanted his apple or wait a week for cash..... so in a way i sold it for almost what i paid for it paid 280 for the compaq. the ibook he bought this ibook for 375 4 months ago with a 1 year warranty from a computer store that rebuilds them first. so i think i came out ahead in a way, i lost 5.00 from the original price from the compaq but got another mac that is far better i think. now i am going to the casino on wednesday if i make decent money there, i may look for a newer one or even get a newer macbook pro but if not im happy with my little ibook.
